Our School Values
At Boutcher, we have three school values: Faith, Family, and Fascination.
Faith
Faith is central to life at Boutcher, guiding us in our learning and interactions with each other and a wider community. It is through faith that we find hope, strength and purpose in all aspects of life. Our faith helps us to trust in God’s love, knowing that He is with us, and encourages us to be openhearted, to believe in goodness of others, and to seek the truth in everything we do.
Family
Family is valued as an essential foundation for both spiritual and personal growth. We believe that family, whether biological or chosen, provides love, support and guidance that shapes, each child and adult’s identity and wellbeing. In the Christian faith, the family is seen as a reflection of God’s love, offering a place where children can learn Christian values and grow spiritually, morally, socially culturally.
Fascination
Fascination in learning plays a vital role in shaping children’s educational journey and in creating lifelong learners. When children are fascinated by learning, they become more curious, engaged and motivated to explore new ideas and concepts by fostering a sense of fascination. We encourage our children to ask questions, think critically and approach challenges with creativity and enthusiasm. We see learning as a way to deepen our understanding of God’s world so that we can grow in both knowledge and faith.
