Collective Worship

Collective worship is an important part of daily life at Boutcher, providing time for reflection, prayer, and connection with God and each other. It is a key opportunity for the whole school community to come together in faith and shared learning. During collective worship, children are introduced to Christian values and traditions, Bible stories, and the teachings of Jesus, which help them to grow spiritually and morally.

Each time of collective worship fosters a sense of belonging and unity, reinforcing the importance of our three school values. Collective worship invites all members of the Boutcher family to reflect on their own lives, giving us the space to consider how they can live out their faith and serve others. We create an inclusive environment where all faith is respected and nurtured, and where children are encouraged to build a strong spiritual foundation for their future.

Service Dates – Spring Term 2026

This term we will continue with our theme God’s World, Our Earth, Our Responsibility. We will learn more about God through the words and actions of Jesus, focusing on the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:3–10). Each week, we will see that Jesus shows us that caring for God’s World means living with humility, mercy, and peace, and taking responsibility for how we treat the Earth and each other.

We warmly welcome parents/ carers and other family members to join us in our worship.
