KS2 Weekly Junior comments
Last week we celebrated Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday. We took time to recognise and celebrate the amazing work he has done - and continues to do - throughout his long career.
Sir David Attenborough said he would like to be a sloth for a day. Which animal would you choose to be and why?
Zionni (Year 6)
I’d like to be a swan because they are my favourite animals and I love how they are so graceful on the water. I would also like to be an otter because I like how they wrap themselves up in kelp so they don’t float away when they are in the water sleeping.
Joe (Year 4)
I would like to be a peregrine falcon because it has been my favourite animal since I was 3 years old. I found out it is the fastest animal in the world and have loved them ever since. My dream is to actually see one in real life, my auntie Ash said she saw one in Norwich so I’m hoping that when I go to Norwich with choir that I will see one.

Family meditation builds connection, reduces stress, and teaches emotional regulation.
1. Sit together in a comfortable circle on the floor or on cushions. Close your eyes and place your hands on your bellies so you can feel yourselves breathing.
2. Take deep breaths in through your nose, imagining your bellies inflating like colourful balloons. Breathe out slowly through your mouth, letting the balloons deflate. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
3. Keep your eyes closed and think of 3 things you are grateful for about each other. Open your eyes.
Try it before bedtime or use 3 mindful breaths together before leaving for school or work.
Hard copies of School Policies,
