KS2 Homework comments

The Royal Meteorological Society – a group in the UK that studies weather and climate – has opened its Weather Photographer of the Year competition this month. The photos show just how beautiful, exciting, and different our weather can be!

What kind of weather do you like the most, and why?
Think about:

  • How that weather makes you feel

  • What fun things you can do in it?

  • What it looks like – is it beautiful, strange, or exciting!

Precious (Y6)

I like all seasons because it shows just how beautiful the world is but my favourite is ☀️ summer because it feels nice to be out on a sunny 🌞 day and
science says the sun gives vitamin d which is linked to the mood regulation which makes us calm. Also, I love winter because it is a time to celebrate Christmas🎄 and you make lots of decorations and have food together ❤️. Plus you get lots of 🎁 presents.

Anas (Y5)

My favourite seasons are Summer and Winter because in the Summer you can go to the beach and have amazing sea competitions like I did when I went to Margate beach. Depending on my memory, Margate beach looks like a normal beach but the sunset is totally exceptional and the view is also amazing. I believe that Summer is truly fantastic.

Next up is Winter, which is my 2nd favourite season. I honestly love Winter because I remember my memories from 2020!!!!!!! I used to always play with the snow with my sister and my mother. It was very fun. I wish that in 2025 Winter comes back like before.
