Festival of The Girl, aimed at primary school aged girls and their families (boys also welcome!), is taking place on Sat 3rd and Sun 4th October in Islington. Kids will have the opportunity to try different activities ranging from engineering to gaming, sports to aviation, experiments to activism, production to sustainability, politics to friendships, banking to farming and much more. What is your favourite thing about autumn? Describe what you like about it and explain why it makes autumn special for you.
Alexandra (Year 6)
My favourite thing about autumn is the BOUTCHER carnival because it’s so much fun and just having our own Carnival with performances, food and art is always so special for the BOUTCHER family because we can express ourselves with freedom and show our love and affection and happiness at that time of the year.
Olivia (Year 4)
Although, autumn is not my favourite season, I like the stunning colours of leaves in shades of orange, gold, red and brown. I like their crunching sound when I jump or run through them. I’m looking forward to dressing up for Halloween and go trick or treating with my friends and family.
