KS2 Weekly Junior comments

The Football World Cup begins this month and players will be using a new high-tech ball called the Trionda. Read the article and watch the video to find out what makes this ball different and how its special technology will be used during the tournament.

Do you think technology makes football more exciting or less exciting? Explain your answer.

Oliver (Year 6)

I think it makes football more exciting because it is always anticipating waiting for the VAR conclusion and it also makes football more fair because technology is normally more accurate than human opinion.

Imogen (Year 4)

I think that technology makes the game more interesting because they can see how much the ball spins and how fast the players kick it

This Sunday is International Yoga Day 2026, coinciding with the Summer Solstice. Do you know any yoga poses? Ask your friends and family if they know of any you can try together. You could have a dance party and when the music stops you all have to do a yoga pose.
