KS2 Weekly Junior comments

NASA - the US space agency - has chosen a new team of astronauts. In the next few years, they could travel to the Moon and possibly even to Mars!

Imagine you were offered the chance to explore space.
What would you find most exciting or fascinating about the adventure?
What do you think would be the hardest part of the mission?

Clio (Y6)

If I were able to go to space, I think the most exciting part would be to see the Earth from far away. It would look like a giant blue and green ball and that would be so cool! I would also like floating around in zero gravity because it would feel like flying.
The hardest part would probably be missing my family and friends because I'd be so far away. Also, wearing the space suit all the time might be uncomfortable. But even with the hard parts, I would still want to go because it would be the adventure of a lifetime! ?🚀☄️🛰️🪐

Davina (Y5)

If I was offered to go to space, I wouldn’t take the opportunity because of black holes, imagine being swallowed by a black hole. But if I had to go to space, I would be excited about seeing Earth from space and maybe even a round rainbow. I would also be excited to get minerals and work with space scientists. I think the hardest part of the mission would be the food since all the water gets removed from the food which makes the food seem boring. I would also find it hard to be away from my family for such a long time and black holes.
