KS2 Homework Comment of the Week

Should the UK have more bank holidays?

Congratulations to Sofia in Year 4 and Marc-William in Year 5

I think that it is very good we have bank holidays . Though for us children this means missing violins which is important. But like Minaal said we deserve a break from loading our minds with knowledge and the teachers get a break from teaching us. The other reason I think we should have bank holidays is that we get to spend time with family, and we need it every now and then. I LOVE BANK HOLIDAYS!

(Sofia, Y4)

I think the UK should have more bank holidays because that lets people have a day off from work and lets kids have a day off from school. Also we can celebrate good things about our country for example: there will be bank holiday to celebrate the king when he starts having his jubilees.

(Marc-William, Y5)

The Red Boutcher Family group won this week’s cup with 310 points
