KS2 Homework Comment of the Week

Are exclamation marks necessary?

Congratulations to Minaal in Year 4 and Adedamola in Year 5

Using exclamation marks are important as it can express your feelings and it can show you if someone’s happy or angry and if something is dangerous. It also makes your punctuation more exciting. You can use exclamation marks for anything for example to show your emotion and feeling. So in my opinion, using exclamation marks are necessary.

(Minaal, Year 4)

Exclamation marks are very useful and they bring good intense to stories. They can also be used for emotion and commanding someone. They are very useful because, if they weren't real, there wouldn't be any good natural emotion as sentences would be very boring. Full stops are good but exclamation marks give better tense.

(Adedamola, Year 5)
