KS2 Homework
comments of the week

Thank you for all the responses to this week’s question. We had some fantastic book choices that you would love to see on TV.

Well done to Gemini in Year 4 and Inayah in Year 5 for your winning responses!

What is your favourite story that you would love to see on TV? Why would you choose this story?

I would like to see Children of the Benin Kingdom because it is a great book. The book explores many different themes like adventure, culture and faith, also it is about a girl called Ada and she discovers that she is a princess. Her father is the Ogiso, leader of the Edo civilisation. I would like to see it on the big screen because it is based in Nigeria and it is telling children to explore their background and learn more about a country that contributes to their identity. It will be a good opportunity for people who haven't been to Nigeria before to see it being portrayed in a positive light. I rate this book 10 out of 10.

  • Gemini (Y4)

I would like to see Astro girl because that was my favourite book growing up and at the end of the book it tells you about who were the first people to land on space and the first person to land on space in London and other countries. This book is about a little girl who want to be an astronaut when she’s older because her mother inspired to be an astronaut. She really loves her dad but she is always sad because her mum barely gets to see her as she is an astronaut but her dad and brother are always there to comfort her.

  • Inayah (Y5)
