comments of the week

Well done to Connie in Year 4 and Troy in Year 5 for your responses to last week’s question.

If you could invite anyone into school to lead an assembly and speak with you all, who would it be and why? Think about someone who has inspired you and who may inspire others, too.

If I could invite someone to do an assembly in Boutcher I would pick my sisters nurse. My sister Nellie had cystic fibrosis and her nurse Jo looks after her and makes sure she’s ok and well. It would be fun if she could come and teach the school all about CF! 👩‍⚕️❤️
Nurses and doctors 🩺🥼👨‍⚕️really inspire me and I would love to be one when I’m older.

Connie (Year 4)

I would invite Jeff Kinney because I really like his books and I took some inspiration from him with my journal called Diary of blocky8. I would ask him how did he write and illustrate the book. Another thing I would ask him is "did he get inspiration from another book or did he use his mind to create all of the characters?"
