Our Bulletin Board
  • Make sure you are on time and prepared for your learning, and take up any opportunity for booster classes.
  • Be confident in what you do know - and aware of what you don't. Never be afraid to ask, we are here to help you!
  • Homework is due in on Monday morning and spellings are tested on Wednesdays.
  • If you miss work because you are at a school open event, please make sure you ask for catch up work.
  • Remember, there is no such thing as a silly question!

Teacher's Top Tips:

Tip One: Read a wide range of books, newspapers and magazines! this will help you in developing your reading skills.

Tip Two: Learn you times tables and division facts so they become second nature.  Are you good enough to challenge Mrs Verhoeven in the times tables challenge?

Tip Three: Do your homework as soon as you get it!
Remember to hand your homework in every Monday.

Tip Four: for spelling homework, use a dictionary to ensure you know what each word means.  Then work out what class of word it is - noun, verb, adjective, adverb etc. Then see if you can make a rule or connections with other words or word families.
