Thank you St Saviour's and St Olave's for hosting our unexpected whole school trip!

There we were, wrapping up our usual Monday morning assembly, when word came through of an unexploded WWII bomb discovered across the road at a building site on Grange Walk.  Calmly and sensibly, the whole school took a walk down to St Saviour's and St Olave's at Bricklayer's Arms, where 230-something unexpected evacuees were welcomed with open arms and a slap-up lunch!  Boutcher children took the day in their stride and behaved brilliantly up and down the school.    We were lucky enough to have been presented with board games by the Friends of Boutcher which we took with us and they kept the children entertained for much of the afternoon.  A huge thank you to the staff and students at St Saviour's for looking after us so well!

Children from Key Stage 1 enjoy a bowl of delicious pasta thanks to St Saviour's and St Olave's.
