Fundraising for Nepal

posted 12 May 2015, 05:33 by Boutcher PS
The whole school turned out last Friday 8th May to spend the afternoon together writing prayers and good wishes for the people of Nepal affected by the recent
earthquakes.  Children gave £1 to come dressed in colours to represent Peace, Strength, Hope, Sympathy, Compassion and Growth, and we spent the afternoon outdoors, writing prayers on our themes.  Carol and Beverly presided over a cake stall which children, parents and carers bought out over the afternoon - I can particularly recommend the spring rolls!    Mrs V is totting up the total and we should soon be able to let you know how much we have raised.  Watch this space!
